Son, Weon-Young

Dr. Weon-Young Son is a Lead Clinical Embryologist at McGill Reproductive Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Royal Victoria Hospital, McGill University. Dr. Son obtained his PhD degree from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea, in 2000. Dr. Son has more than 10 years of experience for clinical embryology. Initially he started his work as a clinical embryologist at CHA Infertility Center from 1992, and then from 2000 he switched his position as IVF Laboratory Director to Maria Infertility Hospital, both located at Seoul, Korea. In 2003, Dr. Son joined to McGill Reproductive Center as Lead Clinical Embryologist. Dr. Son's research interests include oocyte maturation in vitro, blastocyst culture and vitrification of oocyte and embryo. Dr. Son published more than 80 research papers and presentations.
