Securing Government Funding for IVF Treatment the Canadian Experience Montreal, Canada Infertility Awareness Association of Canada ---- Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 16:15 Concurrent Symposium Psychological and Social Aspect of ART Treatment Beverly L. Hanck was educated at Dawson College in Montreal and at the University of B.C. in Vancouver. Prior to her current role as Executive Director of the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada (IAAC), she held several positions in the communications field where she successfully contributed her organizational skills and business acumen. As Executive Director of the IAAC, Ms. Hanck provides leadership and direction, and serves as spokesperson for the organization. She is responsible for strategic planning and implementation, fundraising, and program management; she is also editor-in-chief of the magazine CREATING FAMILIES a quarterly publication which is now available on selected news stands and in Chapters & Indigo stores across Canada. Ms. Hanck serves as a liaison to the IAAC Board of Directors, and is a critical asset in building relationships with allied health professionals and community-based organizations involved in reproductive health issues. She also directs and monitors IAAC's very busy website which receives more than 17,000 visitors monthly. IAAC is currently a member of iCSi, the International Consumer Support for Infertility, IAPO, the International Association of Patient Organizations, and Beverly is also Director of Development for ACT, The Assisted Conception Taskforce, which is a relatively new global initiative.
