Graduated from the university of Grenoble (France) in 1980. He then be appointed as Red Cross surgeon in Lyon in 1986, He is the head of the CRES(Centre de Recherche et d'Etude de la Stérilité)in Lyon since 1984. He is also honorary Consultant of St Bartholomew Hospital in London. He has extensively published in the field of Reproductive Surgery, and got three awards in USA (AAGL and SLS) for his publications (2000, 2002, 2006) His current practice involves IVF and Reproductive and Endoscopic surgery. He has described the technique of Fertiloscopy (1997) and since have performed a great number of live demonstrations of this technique throughout the world.
